As a Middle-Aged woman, I find the trades both rewarding and lucrative. While the job can be physically demanding at times, I enjoy the challenge and the on-the-job experience. I’m respected and treated fairly by the men I work with. The perks are great with regular hours, full benefits, and paid time off.
I was first drawn to the trades because of my ability to earn without a ton of schooling. I started my electrical career in my early 40s with two children.
